Chapter 3
Chapter 3, Boot The Sand Boot:
Graham walked through the town, slowly and in a matter, which could be seen as pure determination, even though, in Graham’s very soul, he had no determination apart from his promises from long ago. A man jumped from the crowd, swinging a blade towards Graham, but Graham grabbed the blade with only his fingertips, then lifting it into the air, and throwing it down to the ground, all the while the man still holding on, as it happened so fast he couldn't even process how he desperately needed to let go.
When the sword hit the ground, it was reduced to dust, as for the man, his body became something that looked dead, even though the man lived, he lost much of his skin, nearly an entire half of his face, he broke bones, he lost blood, he would be bedridden for the next year at the absolute least.
Graham noticed a bullet flying towards his head, he lifted his hand, and as the bullet flew closer, he flicked it away with his finger, sending the bullet backwards, where it would pierce the shooter's head, killing them.
Graham broke through the dirt with his boots, ready for his next move, Graham lifted his head high, the stitches down his neck slightly dripping with blood, He opened his mouth and began to yell loudly, “Muto! Come forth” in a rather rough voice.
Graham looked to a nearby house, distant, yet directly in front of him, as if hoping something would appear out of the door, and yet, something did.
The door flung open, and a figure in a large purple robe walked out, although their face was hidden, it was clear that they were a Butterfly of Blue, by their visible wings and tall stature.
The figure walked down the road towards Graham, one of their arms out from their robe, holding onto a rapier.
At about six feet away, the figure lifted their hood and pointed their rapier to Graham, their face was a look of true determination, that which comes from a real passion, and finally the figure spoke “I am Glaze, eldest daughter of Muto! I am here to protect my father!”.
